This is a world unfamiliar to us,

but all the stars in the sky stay the same

Humanity remains the dominant power on a restructured Earth even after being rendered nearly extinct during a cataclysmic event hundred of years ago. This apocalyptic threat had been overcome because of the appearance of the Scene Stars: People who use their faith in something Familiar to them to grant themselves the power of change;

Changing themselves - into masked figures wearing clothes made out of stardust

Changing reality - with their magical powers which can paint over the world with the shape of their hearts.

Afterwards in history, conflict between the first of these heroes would lead to the formation of the ethereal KIBOU Nation: A holy domain upheld as the magical superpower of the world, with the sworn mission to cure the illness of conquest and subjegation, through any means necessary.

In the present day, in the shadows of the everbright Scene Stars and the moody lights of pop culture in the city, hides another force aiming to uproot humanity. A waking dreamscape of dark ambition, moving unseen to the soul; their victory seems inevitable.

However, through tragedy and circumstance, three things stand in their way:
